Liz White: Trainer
Liz is the co-founder of the Toronto Centre for Psychodrama, and was part of a team that developed a comprehensive training program leading to certification in Toronto and preparing trainees for the examinations of the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.
Saskatchewan School of Psychodrama
Currently, pioneering once again, she has answered the invitation from Saskatchewan to be the founding trainer of the Saskatchewan School of Psychodrama in Western Canada. She travels to the prairies several times a year to lead workshops, to offer training workshops and to support the responsible use of psychodrama in the province.
Trainer with Pastoral Caregivers
For the last few years Liz has been a visiting trainer with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Practice and Education, Saskatchewan Region. She has directed a number of bibliodramas, including a special workshop in conjunction with their annual meeting. Also, as a part of their Clinical Pastoral Education units in Saskatoon and in Regina, her one day seminars provide experiential learning workshops specifically designed to enhance the intensive training programs.
Presenter/Educator
In recent months Liz has led these workshops:
- British Psychodrama Association, two workshops at the annual conference in Glasgow, Scotland
- Training weekends in Israel and Istanbul and England
- Week-long training in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with Chrysalis, an NGO
- Three workshops on Psychodrama, sociodrama and Women’s Empowerment in Bangladesh
- Two workshops in the maritime provinces, one in Fredericton New Brunswick and one in Halifax Nova Scotia.
