Still Life:  Finding Stillness, Choosing what is Life-Giving, Letting Everything Elso Go

Finding Stillness, Choosing what is Life-Giving, Letting Go of Everything Else In the rush and tumble of everyday life we can become busier and busier doing the same old same old things, having the same conversations, reciting the same litany of complaint against others and ourselves. We can find ourselves feeling unfree, tired out. One thing has been added to our list of activities with nothing being dropped off. We are caught in familiar roles that grow stale.

Even more compelling is the repetitive inner dialogue of perfectionism and “if only…”s, as we contemplate others’ failings and our own.

The first step in finding freedom and some air to breathe is to recover the moments of stillness at the centre. From that mindful place we can take stock. We can see what is or could be life-giving, what we would need to let go of and why we find it so hard to do. This workshop combines a number of sociometric exercises and action pieces to bring colour into the map of our personal landscape, lighten the load and free up energy for new life.

Next Workshops: Dates for 2013 still to be determined.
